Certified Bridging Leadership Coach Level 1
Modeled after and designed to be forward-compatible with the Zuellig Foundation BL Coaching Circle system, the BL Coach Level 1 is designed for first-time coaches who aspire to grow with the BL training ecosystem, especially outside of the health sector. The BL Coacing Certificate Level 1 course also draws heavily from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) BL coaching system.

THE BRIDGING LEADER (BL) COACH COMPETENCIES (Source: Zuellig Foundation, 2022)
The following are the BL Coach Competencies based on the Bridging Leadership Competency Assessment (BLCA) tool:
General Competency: Coaches leaders and teams toward the achievements of their own goals
Enabling Competencies:
Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that invites openness and honesty from the coachee/s
Ensures that the coachee can focus on a specific agenda for the conversation
Asks questions that generate creative thought and stimulate reflective conversations
Establishes the coachee’s accountability to follow through on his/her goals and plans
Maintains a positive mindset towards the coachee throughout the entire conversation
Listens to what is said and what is not being said without biases

The expected roles and responsibilities of the members are, but not limited to, the following:
Serve as a coach for partner leaders and other BL practitioners
Serve as a mentor for new BL coaches, coaches-in-training, and other BLCC members, as applicable
Participate in learning sessions and discussions on BL coaching
Applying to the Zuellig Family Foundation BL Coaches Circle
To strengthen the practice of BL coaching, BL Certified Coaches under the BL Institute are encouraged to apply for membership in the The Zuellig Family Foundation BL Coaches Circle (BLCC). This opens up opportunities to sharpen coaching skills.
